Cinderella Movie Night

A Movie Night fit for Royalty! <3

I haven't been on in awhile and have a lot of catching up to do! So without further notice I present our Disney Dinner and Movie Night--Cinderella. I was very excited for the children to watch this movie, it is not only magical but quite cute. No children ever make in through the whole movie but the last 2 watching was the boys, who didn't want to part in movie night because it was girly lol. Never less everyone had a great time, had fun, and made memories. <3

The decorations were pretty easy to find, the plates and cups came from wal-mart and were only $2 each! The pumpkin we had saved over from Halloween(the week before) and the popcorn tin, I had found that day at our local Meijer.

Daphne's Oven Roasted Chicken ( sooo yummy!!)

For our first activity I found foam sheets at the Dollar Tree and simply traced a high heel on to it and then let the children decorate it with stickers and crayons. Simple but fun!! ( :
Then we iced cookies which I found Cinderella cookie cutters in the clearance aisle for $1, so the cookies were in the shapes of a crown and slipper! Lastly on our list of activities was a shoe scavenger hunt and a Cinderella puzzle.

Spooky Buddies Movie Night

Happy Halloween!!! (=
Tonight we watched Spooky Buddies, my daughter Alexis loves dogs so a perfect pick for her and I would have to say the best movie night so far! Decorations were really easy to come by and cheap! (of course from The Dollar Tree) The crafts I also found there, packs of Halloween foam shapes that the kids decorated. Then for our activities we did a bean bag toss and bobbing for apples, which the kids reallyyy enjoyed!

Toy Story Movie Night

Toy Story 1 Movie Night!
I have to say I've been waiting for this one especially since I watched this one as a child. We are planning to visit Pizza Plant in WDW when we go, so I figured we would eat at our own Pizza Planet and the kids loved the idea!! (= Crafts were the "wanted" posters which I found on pinterest and we also put together a Toy Story puzzle.

Pizza Planet Pizza!! Very Yummy (:

Princess and The Frog Movie Night

Tonight's movie was The Princes and the Frog, a favorite among the kids and I (:
Dinner was really good most of the kids did not like the jambalaya but atleast they tried it.
Crafts were really messy I do not recommend using glitter glue with children that are younger than 10, took a couple of days for the glue to dry lol. (:

Lady and the Tramp Movie Night

Disney Movie Night #2

--Lady and the Tramp

Lady and the Tramp is a big hit in our house.
I watched the film as a child and loved it, so I'm glad
Lexxie enjoys this movie as much as I did  and still do!(:

Dinner-
Tony's Authentic Spaghetti
Garlic Buttered Dog Bones ( Breadsticks)
Jim Dear's Garden Salad

Dessert-
Darling's Apple Crisp (yummy and the kids loved it! )
Popcorn

All decorations I got at The Dollar Tree, the place mats i could not pass on. They had 2 Italian chefs with a plate of spaghetti pictured on them, which went PERFECT with the theme. The Lady and the Tramp themed lantern I printed off then simply cut and glued the piece together.

Time to Eat! ( :

Cousin's Hunter and Nate showing off their collars

The Crafts were very cheap and still lots of fun!
First I found these wooden dogs of course
at the Dollar Tree, but I gave each
child one to paint their own "Lady".
Next we made dog collars, with dog print
ribbon and yellow construction paper.

Disney Movie Night #1

Disney Movie Night #1
---Pocahontas

So I found this idea on Pinterest and loved it!
Since we are leaving for Disney in less than a year I thought it would be a great way to get familiar with characters and a great way to spend time together as a family.

Ok for Dinner we had
-Bison Burgers
-Native American Sweet Corn
-Wild Greens Salad
and Dessert was
-Pumpkin Pie
-Popcorn
For Decorations I purchased everything at our local Dollar Tree except the table cloth which was from Walmart. I tried to do my best to stick with a nature theme, which was perfect because Thanksgiving is coming up soon, making these decorations easy for me to find.

Table Decor
I have to say for my 1st movie night, it went very well. (=

Lexxie had a great time with making her Native American Headbands. We just used construction paper for the head piece, staples to secure it, and leaf stickers for decorating.
